Rear Sheds, IGA Grenfell, NSW Australia

These are the rear sheds at the IGA in Grenfell, the same sheds visible behind Oliver's Hardware in the earlier photo, and they're due to come down soon too. The roof has rusted through in patches and the corrugated iron walls show decades of patching and replacement. Inside, the framing is built from local timber, irregular in the way older farm and town buildings often were, built from whatever was on hand rather than anything bought to spec.

We don't know much of the building's specific history, only that it's stood here long enough to wear like this, and that it won't be standing much longer.
